Scraping the surface of a hyperdiverse group—new genera and species of Ecuadorian Pselaphinae (Coleoptera, Staphylinidae), with an emphasis on the cloud forest fauna

Based on existing collections and new field collections, 339 new species and 18 new genera of Pselaphinae are described from Ecuador. The majority of these taxa originate from cloud forest sites in Pichincha, Tungurahua, Carchi, Cotopaxi, and Napo Provinces.
