Remembering the 250th anniversary of the first public reading of the Declaration of Independence

On July 8, 2026, outside Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the National Park Service held a reenactment of the first public reading of the Declaration of Independence, which occurred exactly 250 years earlier in roughly the same location.
