Wildfires near Avila are now creating their own thunderstorms. Radar and local weather watchers today confirmed giant fire-made storm clouds, known as pirocumulonimbus, rising above the Burgohondo blaze, bringing the real risk of sudden lightning, strong winds and possible flight delays.
