Alberta plan sponsors reporting increased drug spend, use of wellness accounts: report

Alberta-based benefits plan sponsors report overall drug spending is rising each year, with total average costs reaching slightly more than seven per cent from 2023 to 2024 and more than nine per cent from 2024 to 2025, according to a new report by Alberta Blue Cross.
